This series explores diverse perspectives, focusing on contemporary experiences of queer and disabled individuals. I share these experiences to illuminate the richness of our communities and the intersections therein. By portraying narratives of marginalized individuals, I seek to dismantle societal barriers, fostering empathy, understanding, and inclusivity.

I use porcelain casts of commonly stigmatized disability aids for my canvases to depict individuals who use these devices or similar medical aids to enhance their quality of life, inviting audience members to reconsider their connotations about such devices and the people who depend on them. Using color language from the disability pride flag, each portrait matches the disabilities of the figure portrayed. In addition, figure paintings that line the wall explore personal, intimate, and erotic lives lived by these minorities. Through this portrayal I challenge preconceptions, inviting viewers to appreciate the nuanced beauty of marginalized communities and the importance of embracing such diversity.
